Family owned since 1969, La Trattoria serves homemade Italian cuisine in the heart of the Farmington Valley. The menu is a collection of authentic rustic favorites like and contemporary twists but it is highlighted by a variety of tableside prepared dishes like Caesar Salad and Steak Diane that make dining here a complete experience.

Once a small roadside pub, the Bettera family have transformed La Trattoria into a culinary landmark of western Connecticut. Mark Bettera, current owner, grew up in the dining room watching & learning from his father Angelo. Over the years, Mark watched intently as the cuisine and the location evolved under his father’s leadership. Angelo worked tirelessly while at the helm, expanding the dining room, adding three function spaces and perfecting the menu.

But there is one integral part which his father, nor he have ever altered - the service. From the warm welcome as you open the doors, to the delicate tableside preparation of your meal, the service at La Trattoria is unrivaled in the area.
